Ways to increase the effectiveness of fungicides

Apr 03, 2020

1. Reasonable configuration concentration

Both water and wettable powder medicines need to be diluted with water before spraying. Different fungicide use concentrations are required, so the ratio should be strictly followed according to the instructions. A reasonable configuration concentration is more conducive to the effectiveness of the fungicide. If the ratio is arbitrarily mixed, too high a concentration will cause crop damage; if the concentration is too low, it will not meet the control requirements.

2. Suitable spraying time

The time of spraying the fungicide is directly related to the control effect. Spraying too early will cause waste of the drug and reduce the control effect; too late the pathogen has caused harm to the crop. Therefore, it is necessary to take medicine in time according to the law, prediction and specific situation of different diseases. In general, the time of administration of the fungicide can be selected before the onset or early onset.

3. Improve the quality of medication

The quality of the medicine used for the fungicide includes the quantity of medicine, the number of times of medicine and the quality of spraying. The amount of medicine should be appropriate. Too much medicine will increase the cost and cause harm, but too little will not achieve the control effect, so increase or decrease according to the specific situation. The frequency of application depends on the residual period of the medicament and weather conditions. Generally, it is sprayed every 10-15 days for a total of 2-3 sprays. If it rains after spraying, you need to re-spray. The way to improve the quality of medicine is to spray the spray evenly and finely over the stems and leaves of the plant.

4. Strictly prevent phytotoxicity

There are many reasons for fungicides to cause drug damage, such as pesticides, different crop sensitivities, crop growth stages and climatic conditions. Generally speaking, drugs with high water solubility, crops at seedling stage and booting stage, high temperature and drought, fog weight and high humidity have a higher probability of causing phytotoxicity, so they need to be handled with care.
