Dicumene effectively improve the flame retardant efficiency

The main application analysis of the Dicumene product, the product belongs to a graft catalyst, a polymer crosslinking initiator. In addition, it can be used as a synergist of flame retardant instead of cerium oxide, which not only reduces the amount of flame retardant, but also improves the physical and mechanical properties of the polymer. In particular, the effect of addition in polyethylene, polypropylene, and polystyrene is particularly remarkable.

A typical application case of the Dicumene:


Case 1: Polypropylene was added with 1.6% iodobenzene and 0.2% sb2o3, and the product oxygen index was 25.5 when 0.2% of the Dicumene was added; if Dicumene was not added, the oxygen index was 19.5.

Case 2: Polystyrene is added with 0.3%-0.5% organic bromide, plus 0.3% of the Dicumene, the product flame extinguishing time is <3 seconds; if not added, it is completely burned.


About the packaging and storage of this product: usually 20kg / bag of packaging, using paper-plastic composite + polyethylene plastic liner bag, transported as general chemicals. Note that the Dicumene should be stored in a dry and cool place.
